How To Set Up The Perfect Plank

The plank is one of my fave exercises and is the perfect way to build strength and resilience in your core and back, it is also one of the exercises I see butchered the most. 

If I can give you one important tip surrounding a plank, it is not to let those hips drop down below the shoulders.

Forget that much parroted "get your bottom down" nonsense, that seriously compromises the lower back and is a recipe for spinal health disasters, instead, focus on engagement of the centre and maintaining a lovely long line in the spine.
